Len and Friends was a project for my Instructional Design class. I am very fond of this project because from it, I learned the magnitude and potential impact of my degree. Len and Friends is a week-long curriculum designed for children in elementary to learn about dental hygiene and the importance of their baby teeth. This program was designed with spiral learning concepts, among with many other instructional design theories, to engage children through imaginary play, role play, and story time. I had the fortunate opportunity to work with three amazing, like-minded individuals to produce a powerful and meaningful product that can help children build a stronger foundation for their future. We created this entire package through and through, from concept to character development to style guide to lesson and activity planning. Every time I think of this semester I am silenced by the products produced!
